Day 2. Vilna

DAY 2 
We went to the city centre in Vilna and we saw these places: 

  •  CATHEDRAL BASILICA. 
The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, also known as the Saint Louis Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church located in the Central West End area of St. Louis, Missouri                            



  • CHURCH OF ST ANNE 
 It is a major landmark in Vilnius Old Town, which allowed the area to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 
And it is one of the most interesting examples of Gothic architecture in Lithuania. The present brick church was built on the initiative of the King of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Alexander Jagiellon from 1495 to 1500, the exterior of the church has remained almost unchanged since then. Here's video

THE BASTION OF VILNIUS CITY WALL 
 VILNA LINNING BURDEN ENVIRONMENT IN THE OLD TOWN. It has been built in the years 1503-1522. IT IS BUILT IN STONE AND WALL. It was built for war. THERE IS NINE PORT. 




THREE CROSSES MONUMENT 
The hill of three crosses is a very important place for lithuania. the place was established in the 1600s. to remember the monks who were killed there.  the ruins were there a symbol of independence. three circular kukkulla is a fine look over the vilna's old city.   


We went to restaurant restaurant to have lunch, in the afternoon we saw some stores and bought stuff. 


Then we go to bed in an Hotel Novotel Vilnius Centre.
